Ripping vocals, a traditional sound, and a "take you to church" style are the ingredients of Bishop Roger J. Hairston, Sr. and the Voices of Deliverance.

Bishop Hairston directs his church choir, the Voices of Deliverance, affectionately known as the "Voices" or the "V.O.D." – a small church choir with a big sound.

 

Our first recording project, "Bright Side," has a strong lineup of church choir songs, including "You Don't Know, "I'll Fly Away", "We Have Come into This House," and the title cut "Bright Side." Our newly released sophomore recording "Temple of Faith Live" has remained faithful to traditional church choir music.
