Lady Sonya A. Hairston is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a graduate of the Cincinnati School for Creative & Performing Arts and continued her education at the College of Mount Saint Joseph.

 

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Data Processing.

 

Lady Hairston has served under the leadership of her husband, Bishop Roger J. Hairston, Sr., at the Temple of Faith Church, Inc. over the past 20 years. She has worked with various ministries within the church. Currently, she is an Advisor to the Helps and Publications Ministries, board member of the Women's Ministry and sings with the Voices of Deliverance Choir.

Lady Sonya is the daughter of Steve and Thelma. She has two sisters, Venita and Dorris; and one brother, Stevie. Lady Hairston is married to Bishop Roger J. Hairston, Sr., and they have five children; Roger Jr., Ryan, Rebecca, Romero and Rhea. They also have nine grand-children. Lady Hairston is employed by AT&T in Columbus, Ohio.

When you ask Lady Hairston, "What is her lifetime goal?" She'll quote one of her favorite scriptures, Psalms 27:4. "If there is one thing that I desire of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple."
